Red Kites at Argaty

Argaty Farm near Doune and Dunblane in Stirlingshire was the location for a 3rd reintroduction site for the Red Kite in the United Kingdom back in the mid 90`s,to bring back a species once made extinct in this part of the world due to mans intolerance it would seem to Birds of Prey !
A now healthy but still fragile poplulation now live in and around the area with further birds released in Aberdeenshire and the Black Isle in recent years aswell as Dumfries and Galloway.
