Following my 7 days in Katmai National Park,I had a couple of days in Anchorage.A trip to an old naval station at Whittier for a cruise through Prince William Sound with a chance to photograph Sea Otters,Stella Sea Lions and Eagles was to good to miss, aswell as the numerous Glaciers.Although overcast and grey it stayed mainly dry and I wasnt to be disappointed with the wildlife opportunities.

Prince William Sound and its surrounding waters and inlets are famous for the disasterous Exxon Valdez oil spill which occurred here in 1989.The local wildlife was dessimated but is now beginning to make a comeback, although for example the number of Sea Otters are still well below levels before the disaster.
