Firstly a long overdue update on our Osprey family at Loch of the Lowes.
All 3 eggs which the female laid did hatch but sadly 1 of the chicks did not survive the harsh weather which was falling on the country soon after they hatched,but thankfully the other 2 chicks are looking great and preparing for their long migration to Africa in the coming weeks.
 
A very eventful first year for me of photographing Ospreys with so many great moments including photographing the 1st chick fledging and 1 of them catching a fish from opposite the hide in the Loch.
