Bottlenose Dolphins

Home | Sports | Scenery | Wildlife | Aviation | Links | Contact Me

The population of Bottlenose Dolphins calling the Moray Firth home is thought to be in the region of 130 animals.
The animals can be seen regularly from Chanonry Point on the Black Isle when the Dolphins follow the shoals of fish making their way up the moray firth for the fresh water rivers to respawn every year.
April-September are the best times to catch these mammals as they follow the local food source.
