A short visit to the Loch for me today,but nonetheless
plenty happening.
7Y our male Osprey had been on the nest for sometime before deciding personal hygiene should be taken
care of and twice flew along the Loch dragging his Talons in the water,before 3 times submerging and bathing himself.
Not
the greatest of photographs due to the distance but great to see this behaviour.

All by myself! 7Y sits on a perch in the Loch of
the Lowes from where he "jumped in" for a couple of baths.
